NIN, "I'm gonna burn this whole world down"

Playing around with fire sure is fun especially whilst playing with long photo exposures. However the long exposures do require mucho patience. Here are some of the fruits of my labor:

Black and white close up, yep it sure was hot!!

Night turns into day (when you have a minute and fifteen second exposure)
ISO: 100Exposure: 75.0 secAperture: f/22.0Focal Length: 20mm

A quick, hot shot. (note the blue flame just appearing in the lower left quadrant)

Super hot floating ashes. Try catching them on your tounge!
(please be carefull while playing with fire; you may just very well lose an eye or two)

Creepy Crawly

I found these crazy looking caterpillars munching on my tomatoes last night. I looked them up to figure out exactly what they are. I knew that they were known as hornworms, but I didn't know that they were 'Tobacco' hornworms because they have a 'red' horn on their tails. If they would've had a 'black' horn and more spots, then they would've been 'Tomato' hornworms. More info here: http://www.coopext.colostate.edu/4dmg/Pests/tomato.htm

Needless to say I promptly took them off of my plant!

Pretty Much All Set Up Now

I think I have my Blog's layout all set up for the time being. What do you think?

As a side note, I HATE poison ivy. I'm in the final 'healings' of the skin reaction. If I could find a way to genetically alter the plant to infect itself, rather than humans, and cause itching blisters on the plant's own roots and leaves, guess what, I would!!! Any geneticists up for the challenge??

Some purple for you (it sure beats red inflamed blisters)

1st Time for Everything

Welcome to 216 Blogs!!!

I decided today that I was going to start my very first blog. I've seen quite a few great blogs which have spawned ideas in my noggin'. So, here goes my feeble attempt at consuming more internets space.

Sit back, relax, forget it and let's consult the crystal ball of the future...
